God has looked down upon the chaos occurring in the world today, and he has heard the cry of his people against agonizing, evil provokers who vex the souls of the righteous day by day. Yes, the Bible tells us that God is love, God is long-suffering, and God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. However, the Bible also declares that God is not mocked, and nobody can make a fool out of him. If you know that God is no respecter of persons, then you must also keep in mind what happened to those who opposed the will of God through rebellion and those who chose to submit to the lies of Satan. Yes, God rescues and redeems the righteous out of their distress when it is warranted. None the less, we should notice that God did not rescue but condemned Sodom and Gomorrah and made an example of them by sending fire and burning their cities to ashes.
Always, God is standing ready to forgive and save those who choose to repent or have a change of mind and a change of heart and are willing to turn back to God and the obedience of his instructions (II Peter 2:6-8; II Peter 3:9). Sinners cannot expect God to accept their sin. God knows how to separate a sinner from his sin. He loves the sinner and desires that the sinner will choose him and be willing to abandon the sin. Unfortunately, many sinners choose to keep their sin and not depart from what Satan has shown them is best for them. God cannot be tempted by evil, and neither does he tempt any man. God will deliver us from evil, not endorse us to remain attached to it. No, God won’t do it, and neither can his disciples. Each of us must choose one or the other to govern the life that God has given us. Hear the urging of the Holy Spirit and choose wisely. Choose God and let go of the sin that Satan is marketing as pleasurable and indispensable. Satan is a liar, and he will never approach anyone except to steal what God has given to you, to kill your drive and your dreams, to destroy any hopes you might have had of/ in knowing the truth, and eventually to destroy your soul in hell. What will it be for you, my friend? Why not take a look at the choice that Moses gave to God’s people (Deuteronomy 30:15-20). Perhaps this word will help you decide. Choose life and abundance or choose sin and death, but know that the day is far spent and… It’s time to choose!
